IAN DURY AND THE BLOCKHEADS: 'HIT ME WITH YOUR RHYTHM STICK'

First up, this lead singer had polio and is disabled on all his left side. The accent is Cockney - Londoner. This is a great song from 1978. It's a bit cheeky, but is such a great song. Ian Dury has great stage presence, the whole band is good. I chose a live performance. That bass line, epic.

I really like this, but not all their stuff, just this. (When I want really loud music.) Definitely heavy rock/metal - don't let it frighten you!

All or any of these dancing about on stage is far better and more fun, than watching Beyonce or Jennifer Lopez, or Gaga or others doing their endless dance routines.
