French Film Star Brigitte Bardot

As a young actress she truly was more a 'sex symbol' than any Hollywood actress of that genre. French President Emmanuel Macron paid tribute to Bardot, saying she “embodied a life of freedom.” This perception is why this is reported here. What she did was have a lot of relationships. This is easy for anyone to do. The question is did she ever find Love? Because you simply cannot make that happen. This then raises the question if there is ever freedom if a relationship is not based on Love. Can a person even recognize Love if he or she only bases the experience on having a physical relationship? That is more correctly an addiction, and an addiction is a trap not freedom. The only freedom, we believe, is when you can base your relationship on Love. Was she really 'true to herself?' She became the male ideal of a 'Lolita' - a young woman who was 'free about sex'. A male ideal, and also an ideal that Epstein's empire relied on. The 'ideal' that predatory males like Trump could only benefit from with any number of 'ideal Lolitas'. The more girls who could be programmed into this way of thinking, then so much the better for a man's world. Not so ideal once they became older though. She tried to commit suicide a number of times, including as a teenager and when she was 26 after a failed marriage and 'being free'.

As has been commented on, it is about 20 years later that girls realize they have been exploited and assaulted. Brigitte Bardot retired from films at 39, also from her entire 'sex kitten' image, and concentrated on the welfare of animals. She did not go the cosmetic surgery route either.

Brigitte Bardot had formed very strong and considered opinions about what was happening to her home country France, which was and is being destroyed by immigration. She sspoke exactly as people now are speaking up about all the issues that are lowering and ruining society. Bardot, like most of us, came from a civilized society which was becoming a much less civilized society. I think many would have liked Bardot just for having the courage to think and take action. She said that 'even today, humans carry within themselves, defects that are appalling'.

Brigitte Bardot did turn her back, recognizing that she had been exploited by the 'sex kitten' image, and she retired from making films when she was 37/38. She eventually did find a man who loved her for herself, and they married in 1992. Brigitte Bardot's story is inspiring, and she had a voice that was a voice which recognized the corruption in the world.

It can also be commented on that the current day celeb culture does not have the same level of good looking girls that existed in earlier decades. Not by a long way. It is very noticeable that Sydney Sweeney who 'they' have been promoting madly in the lead up to the three films out now that are supposed to 'make her', is nowhere near as attractive as the young Brigitte that CNN is featuring in as their tribute to Brigitte Bardot. Florence Pugh is a better contender, yet seems to be struggling to be considered. There just aren't very good looking girls, they are okay, or they are heavily 'fillered' and very cosmetically tweaked people which is a look all on its own, but it isn't really very good looking.

Let's mention Olivia Hussey, and Monica Bellucci, or Catherine Deneuve.

Today's film industry and music industry does not really have the kind of real show stopping, charismatic stars that existed in earlier time. Certainly there is a 'formula' they the execs. like, but it has nothing to do with talent. Why are they promoting someone who can't act? isn't this like going to a lawyer who has a good video out promoting his/her product, but who never went to law school?

This aspect is the focus of the comment.

Having looked into this topic we looked into the current crop of 'stars' and actually it is hard to find anyone who qualifies.

A few years ago I mentioned the author F.Scott Fitzgerald, who wrote 'The Great Gatsby' sometime in the 1920's and the person was astounded and horrified that I would know of someone around in the 1920's. I also know abaout Shakespeare, which is older and must be so much worse to know about!

There is no-one with the charisma that just kind of makes someone the next star. Brigitte Bardot's first husband, Roger Vadim, after their divorce hooked up with a young Jane Fonda and turned her into another successful 'Lolita' with the iconic film classic 'Barbarella' (which I have never seen but know it is a classic.) Then we discovered a supposed 'actress' is the producer for a new film casting her as 'Barbarella' -which might work if it has Edgar Wright as the director. But really, this is definitely punching above her weight. The film blurb says the 'most beautiful creature of the future' - which in the Jane Fonda version of this comedy was accurate.

.Somehow, we find this annoying and unacceptable to be palmed off with stuff that isn't really very good. This is what this comment is about. That someone with absolutely no talent, is promoted, and how standards have deteriorated and no-one knows enough to recognize that. That the quality of the films we get is based on in this case, that she has ample boobs. not that she can act. Maybe 'generation wtf' thinks this is good and they really have nothing to compare it with because everything is 5th rate now! The benchmark is her bikini shots which she does because she has no talent, and that is what gets people (men) to see her movies. Maybe 'they', the backers, see her as a new Scarlett Johansson, which she isn't. But she is also no 'Barbarella' and also no Jane Fonda as 'Barbarella'. This is the so called trailer for the movie.

Having looked at the lack of any female 'stars' in Hollywood in the current world, yet looked at the late Brigitte Bardot, and then via her first husband Roger Vadim looked at Jane Fonda, specifically her iconic role as 'Barbarella' in 1968, we then looked at the wishy washy and very ordinary looking Sydney Sweeney who 'they' seem to be trying desparately to promote, and that she herself is producing the film of the remake of 'Barbarella'.

We have seen this person being promoted and wondered why. This is why we investigated this.

We don't know of any film this Hollywood actress, or whatever, has done, but presumably she has raised enough money to be a producer. Therefore apart from lots of bikini photos - for obvious reasons using being 'undressed to promote her' - why are they selling us this person?

So we checked the trailers for 3 movies she currently has out now. That is the kind of push 'they' make when they want to make someone a 'star'. The film she made enough money in to produce a film is 'Anyone but You' which was a box office hit in 2023. She seems to have ample boobs, which can be seen in 'Anyone but You', but not a great or exceptionally 'better' figure than anyone her age, as can also be seen in that movie. (Yes we know there are good professionally taken photos, but the reality remains.) She has average looks, nice, and nothing special, and we are asking why she is constantly promoted?

As said, she has no talent so it has to be bikini photos to sell her appeal.

We have no problem with appreciating a girl with a great body - we would mention Brigitte Bardot. since that was the starting point which went off into this article. To be honest, we had not researched Brigitte Bardot before. She is stand out great, in her genre, including for allure and 'presence'.

We could mention stunning and talented actresses who also do look good in a bikini, but do not need to sell themselves via bikini shots. There is prinyanka Chopra as a recent example an Indian actress who made the transition to Hollywood via the TV series 'Quantico' in 2017. So that's fairly recent. There have been really stunninngs stars, with personality and who could act, like Julia Roberts, or Meg Ryan. We have mentioned Scarlett Johansson as a fairly recent famous film actress. There was Hallee Berry, Salma Hayak who looks good in a bikini. Liz Hurley, had some 'glam' and was good on screen even if not a great actress, she did have presence.

But this person does not have a great body. She does not have talent so her appeal to sell her, has to be by bikini shots. She has some good photos done, some are definitely photoshopped, but you can see from the film 'Anyone but You' trailer (we haven't watched the film) she has a nice enough body but nothing special. The point being made is, there is no talent so it has to be sexy photos.

They are mostly professionally done photos to look as if she just happened to be photographed. The reason for the article here is about the faked hype, and that is the point being made.

Obviously the focus of the photo below is the boobs.

It is surprising that she would have this photo still in circulation, its the kind of shot that should not be used.

So, she doesn't actually have a particularly good body. Its average for her age. She is no Priyanka Chopra. . She has average looks, nice, and nothing special - look at the trailer above - and we are asking why she is constantly promoted?

Same for the jeans advert she did, where she looks like any typical tourist in that age group.

So here is the jeans advert and those jeans do not make her butt look great! Its an average, fairly flat butt.

Apparently the ad people created a controversy around what she is saying for the advert and of course the controversy was to the point of the campaign.

This was the first we ever saw of this person and it is overwhelmingly obvious that she is ordinary and average. being 'average' she will probaby appeal to the average girl in that kind of age group. Which is the point.

As said, she clearly does not have 'great' butt, its average okay and she looks average. Certainly she fits into the 'Lolita' age group which has its own rights to always being appreciated. She seems to be in her mid 20's (she is now 28) so the rule is that no-one is allowed to criticize anyone in that category or it is 'being mean'.

We think it is calling a 'spade a spade'. The entirity of this is advertising to make this person a 'name' that business people can make money out of. Not just for jeans but everything, its about selling movies by making it seem like she is standout interesting despite having very average looks. She is no Scarlett Johansson who did have the 'allure'. Thats just an example, although we are not particular fans of Ms. Johansson, but we did like some of her films and never felt that the publicity for her was bullsh..t.

This next photo is what her figure really looks like. Average.

We would say its the boobs, and that the 2023 film was successful. However, there are actresses who are trained and really good in that profession, who look equally or better looking and yet they are not the ones promoted.

Truly, this person is not really an actress and doesn't have the 'allure' to carry a film like 'Barbarella' but it will probably do okay because of the hype making it seem that she has something unusual about her. This is a comment about the quality of 'standards' today, which it is believed have not only been reduced, but trashed.

In fact, what we are getting is an endless supply of 'Marvel' type films most of which can be made with cgi, AI, and special effects.
